Small Groups Develop through Radio Preacher

Groups of listeners to a daily religious program in the Philippines are meeting for weekly fellowship and ministry, according to their Pastor Dan Dangallo.  Featured below are pictures of the various groups from sites in and around central Mindanao:

Chairman Aids in Typhoon Relief Effort

Chairman Dante Dangallo has assisted with needed operations in the aftermath of destructive Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.

He and other volunteers from the “1 Bukidnon Help Movement” arrived in Leyte province to conduct “stress debriefing, help in clearing and retrieval operation, medical and relief mission,” Dangallo recently texted.  The team retrieved dead bodies every day.  “Many places are totally ruined; many people are still starving,” he reported.  The area remains without electricity or phone signal.  “Let’s continue to pray for the people in Leyte and Samar,” Dangallo encouraged.

Despite the large death toll of over 5,000 victims, Dangallo rejoiced to discover his relatives among survivors, including his mother’s cousins who had evacuated to the second floor of a building rented as a church.

As part of his longstanding labors toward unity in the Body of Christ, Dangallo plans to return with fellow pastors to minister to affected churches.
